A growing investment firm is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join its collaborative finance team. The firm invests across venture capital and private equity strategies and offers a high-impact opportunity for a fund accounting professional who wants broad exposure, meaningful ownership, and room to grow. This person will play a key role in the firm’s fund accounting, reporting, and operational finance processes. The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, and enjoys working in a hands‑on environment alongside investment professionals, finance leadership, and external service providers Responsibiliti esManage the day-to-day fund accounting process across venture capital and private equity fun dsOversee quarterly and annual fund closes, including review of NAVs, financial statements, capital account statements, and supporting schedul esReview capital calls, distributions, management fees, expense allocations, investment activity, and carried interest calculatio nsPartner with third-party fund administrators to ensure accurate, complete, and timely reporti ngPrepare and review investor reporting, capital account statements, and other limited partner deliverabl esCoordinate audit and tax processes with external auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrato rsSupport cash management, fund liquidity planning, and capital activi tyAssist with portfolio investment reporting and ad hoc analysis for internal stakeholde rsHelp improve fund accounting processes, controls, reporting, and documentation as the platform gro wsWork closely with investment, legal, operations, and investor relations tea msMentor and support junior accounting staff, as applicab le Qualificati onsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fi eldCPA preferred but not requi red5+ years of progressive fund accounting, partnership accounting, or investment management accounting experie nceExperience supporting venture capital, private equity, hedge fund, fund administration, or other alternative investment fu ndsStrong understanding of capital calls, distributions, management fees, partnership accounting, investor reporting, and fund financial stateme ntsExperience working with third-party fund administrators, auditors, and tax advis orsStrong Excel skills and comfort working with fund accounting systems and reporting to olsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadli nesStrong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive appro #J-18808-Ljbffr
