Multi-Process Manufacturing Machine Technician

Join our production team and build mastery across multiple operations — Die Cast, Knobline, Punch Press, and Stake Flag. This full-time role is designed for mechanically inclined problem-solvers who want steady growth, hands-on learning, and the chance to operate a range of industrial equipment.

A Day in the Life

You’ll begin by reviewing work orders and setup instructions, prepping your station, and bringing your assigned machinery online. Throughout the shift, you’ll keep production flowing, inspect output, and document results. You’ll pivot smoothly between tasks while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Core Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and continually monitor production machines to achieve part quality and throughput goals.
• Load raw materials, parts, and components into equipment as specified by work orders and production specs.
• Follow detailed setup instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Make routine machine adjustments to sustain performance and quality.
• Watch for jams, defects, or operating issues and respond promptly.
• Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks on completed parts.
• Use gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools when required.
• Remove, trim, assemble, or package finished components.
• Complete all production paperwork and record output accurately.
• Keep your area clean, tidy, and well organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with changeovers, tooling, roll changes, and minor troubleshooting as trained.

Department Spotlights

• Die Cast: Run die-casting equipment, handle molded metal parts, remove excess material, and inspect finished components.
• Knobline: Operate and monitor equipment that manufactures and assembles knob components.
• Punch Press: Set and operate progressive stamping equipment, load coils, monitor dies, install guards, check parts, and submit first-piece inspections.
• Stake Flag: Operate wire-cutting and production machinery to manufacture and assemble marking flags and wire stakes.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, machine-operation, or production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn different machines.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with measuring tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and a stable work history.
• Willingness to cross-train and rotate among departments.
• Comfort working safely around moving machinery, metal components, and production equipment.

Physical Realities of the Role

• Stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Perform repetitive hand, arm, and body motions.
• Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and handle materials.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and moving equipment.
